Apparently, an 'about me' page is supposed to give you some knowledge on the problems I solve in your life instead of introducing who I am. Here's the thing, I can't even solve my own problems, so why would I know how to solve yours? But here's what I can tell you:

• My novels are biblically inspired (not to be confused with Christian fiction).  Yes, I am a Christian.

• I'm writing for myself first and a young-adult audience second - those heart issues, those bitter-sweet scenes, those raw and painful truths, they are for the quiet parts of me that aren't shared with the public. If you find they touch your heart, then you and I are pieces of the same puzzle. Please drop a message in the contact form, I'd love to hear from you.

• My current novel series is YA Fantasy fiction.

• Sword of Audantei is the first book of the ARTIFACTS of ANARCHY series.

On top of these little facts, I am a notorious plant killer. Cats, good. Dogs, good. Horses, good. Anything - anything - with a root system will die by my hands. Unintentionally. Children, surprisingly enough, I can do well. But perhaps this is because I've been the eldest daughter of a family involved with foster care and work as a Behavioural Interventionist (I help kids on the Autism Spectrum through play-based learning). And while I am a secretary in the morning, this job is far more rewarding.

My favourite novels are the Raven Cycle, All For the Game, anything by VE Schwab - madman genius - and a love-hate thing for the Captive Prince series. I aspire to write like CS Pacat or Neil Gaiman and struggle with patience to refine my craft enough to reflect either one.
